Also in need of a foster home ~ NMDOG CRUE is available for adoption. CRUE is just a little over a year old, he is tall & long legged, he has piercing blue eyes & a heart of gold to go with them. CRUE is a super sensitive Husky boy who needs dog friends that wont hurt his feelings. He is silly & talky, likes to go for long walks along the river, he is friendly with other dogs & loving with people. CRUE will do best in a home with another nice dog & good humans to adore him. Humans that are home a lot or humans he can go to work with...thats what CRUE wants. But we also think once he settles in...he will do fine home alone with a BFF dog buddy to help him feel safe & secure! He gets a bit nervous & worried when he is left alone. He is good with human kiddos...even the little ones & will need a 6ft non chainlink fence to keep him safe. CRUE walks great on his leash + harness & he is looking for an active family to make up for the heartache he knew previously. ~ Adoption application www.nmdog.org/adopt.html ~ Foster application www.nmdog.org/foster.html ~ NMDOG available dogs on facebook www.facebook.com/pg/NMDOGVillage/photos/?tab=album&album_id=2558384497554978 As an all volunteer, foster based, 501(c)3 non profit rescue, NMDOG is always in need of new, approved foster & adoptive homes in order to continue our Mission: to serve & protect New Mexico's Forgotten Dogs!! Also in need of a foster home ~ NMDOG EDEN is available for adoption. EDEN is a little under 2 yo & we think she is a Shar Pei/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who might be around 55 - 60# full grown. Its hard to believe EDEN has been in the NMDOG program for as long as she has. We understand...because we know where she came from & the condition she was in when we first met her. She was a tiny baby, only around 4 mos old. Its amazing she is willing to let anyone love her after all she went through before. At NMDOG HQ, where EDEN has stayed since she came....she is so silly, so happy & soooo outgoing, as long as no one new is around to see. But once EDEN leaves HQ or when new volunteers come on site, EDEN turns into the shut down, "invisible puppy" we met some time ago 🙁 We hope that one day (soon! before she grows even more) that EDEN will find her special Angel that sees in her, everything we do! EDEN is brave! EDEN is smart! (like, super smart!) EDEN is silly & full of joy!! She does great with all other dogs & can alter her playstyle to accommodate a variety of doggie personalities. Shes a dogs dog thats for sure & we know there is a special human out there for our special girl. EDEN must have at least one other dog friend in the home to help her acclimate, a 5 ft minimum fence to keep her safe & we ask that any human kiddos in the home be at least 12yo. Also in need of a foster home ~ NMDOG HUNTER is available for adoption. HUNTER is a 2 year old Catahoula mix & he is as smart as they come! He loves children, training, going on hikes, ice cream cones on a hot day & naps with his favorite peeps! HUNTER loves to interact with everyone & is always up for a challenge by learning new tricks & skills! He loves to spend time with people & cant wait to be the treasured companion to someone very special he can call his own. HUNTER plays well with other dogs & he passed his NMDOG cat test! HUNTER walks well on his leash + harness, rides great in the car, he is cratetrained & listens very well. When he came into the NMDOG program, he suffered from severe untreated allergies, but through testing, we discovered what foods he is allergic to & adjusted his diet accordingly. It is affordable, easy to maintain & now he has a beautiful coat with no issues. HUNTER has received a full medical clearance for placement & will need a minimum 6ft non chained link fence to stay safe & secure. Though, he can never be left alone unsupervised outside, because HUNTER is a very skilled escape artist. We think HUNTER would do great in an apartment or townhome environment - take away the yard, take away the problem - as long as his needs are being met in other ways. Also in need of a foster home ~ MILO is available for foster &/or adoption as a bonded pair with NMDOG ELLIE, a petite Husky mix. We have waived our adoption fee for MILO & ELLIE - our primary concern is finding them a loving home together. MILO is a 5yo xtra large Sheperd mix with a ginormous heart of gold! He has eyes that will melt your heart & touch your soul...he is searching for a family to LoVe. MILO enjoys snuggling with his humans, playing "catch me if you can" with sister ELLIE & car rides. He also likes to chase squirrels! MILO is housetrained, cratetrained & though he walks well on his leash + harness....he will need a strong person at the other end. We are seeking a home for ELLIE & MILO where they can be the only furchildren & we ask that any little humans be at least 12 yo, thank you. ~ Adoption application www.nmdog.org/adopt.html ~ Foster application www.nmdog.org/foster.html ~ NMDOG available dogs on facebook www.facebook.com/pg/NMDOGVillage/photos/?tab=album&album_id=2558384497554978 As an all volunteer, foster based, 501(c)3 non profit rescue, NMDOG is always in need of new, approved foster & adoptive homes in order to continue our Mission: to serve & protect New Mexico's Forgotten Dogs!! NMDOG SAYRE is available for adoption. SAYRE is a super sweet, very playful 18mos old front tripawd Husky mix boy! He is so full of life, love & spunk...dont tell him he only has 3 legs because he has no idea - we think he thinks he has 6!! SAYRE loves everyone he meets - SAYRE even passed his cat test! What a GOOD boy!! More than anything, he needs a family to adore him with a big grassy yard & at least one other playful doggie sibling to rough & tumble with throughout the day. SAYRE is housetrained, cratetrained, walks great on his leash + harness & rides like an angel in the car. SAYRE can hang with the best of them, but care must be taken to help regulate his activity to a certain degree - in an effort to maintain the integrity of his remaining front leg. This includes no high impact activities (jumping on & off of things, excessive running, endurance hikes, etc) & may require time outs during play so he doesnt overdo it. SAYRE is going to be a wonderful addition to a very special family....he is great with human kids too! ~ Adoption application www.nmdog.org/adopt.htm ~ NMDOG available dogs on facebook www.facebook.com/pg/NMDOGVillage/photos/?tab=album&album_id=2558384497554978 As an all volunteer, foster based, 501(c)3 non profit rescue, NMDOG is always in need of new, approved foster & adoptive homes in order to continue our Mission: to serve & protect New Mexico's Forgotten Dogs!!
