Grey Muzzle Grant

| September 16, 2019

Earlier this year, NMDOG was awarded a wonderful, much needed grant by the Grey Muzzle Organization to help supplement the expense of the NMDOG Home Sanctuary Program. This program provides lifetime medical care, routine vetting and other ongoing needs for many of our senior and special needs dogs, like this super handsome gentleman featured in today’s KRQE Pet of the Week segment: 13 year old NMDOG Malone!

At the Grey Muzzle Organization, their Mission is simply stated: “We envision a world where no old dog dies alone and afraid”. The Grey Muzzle Organization improves the lives of at-risk senior dogs by providing funding and resources to animal shelters, rescue organizations, sanctuaries, and other non-profit groups nationwide.

Because of this grant and our ongoing efforts NMDOG is able to provide financially for the lifetime care of our 15 current Home Sanctuary Program kiddos: Malone, Honor and Astro, Goldie, Santana, Pinto, Sterling, Dukey, Stormy, Baxter Cape and Raina, Micah, Lance Sweets and Holly! These special needs dogs are living their best years in wonderful homes, for the rest of their lives, with a family that adores them. A big round of applause also goes to their forever foster parents!!

We are beyond grateful to the Grey Muzzle Organization for their ongoing dedication to their Mission and for their contribution to the NMDOG Home Sanctuary Program. Thank you!!
