Raffle Contest Rules

NMDOG is proud to announce our “NMDOG Barkin’ Bad Raffle of a 50th Anniversary Edition Corvette” starting November 30th 2014 at 11:00AM at the Santa Paws event at Pet Food Gone Wild (2415 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124). The drawing will be during the Barkin’ Bad Car Show on May 18th 2014. Need not be present to win. Must be 18 years or older to buy a ticket. Proceeds to benefit NMDOG.

Official Rules

The “NMDOG Barkin’ Bad Raffle of a 50th Anniversary Edition Corvette” Raffle is being conducted by NMDOG, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization under the laws of the State of New Mexico.

Ticket purchaser must be 18 years of age or older to participate and must have a valid Social Security number.

There is no limit to the number of tickets one (1) person may purchase.

NMDOG Board members and their spouses are not eligible to participate in this raffle.

Raffle tickets are $100.00 each. Raffle tickets may be purchased by cash, checks or money order (made payable to NMDOG). Should the purchaser’s check not be honored by the bank, the ticket will become void and withdrawn from the drawing.
By IRS declaration, ticket purchases for valuable prizes are not eligible for charitable tax deductions.

Odds of winning are 1:1,000.

Tickets may be purchased by the following methods:,
• On the internet at www.barkinbad.com
• In Person at Pet Food Gone Wild (2415 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124), Good Shepherd Animal Clinic (4601 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110), and Gate-It Access Systems (8023 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113)

All ticket order forms must be received with full payment no later than 1PM on May 18th, 2014 or before a total of 1,000 tickets have been sold, whichever comes first, to be entered into the drawing. NMDOG will not extend ticket sales beyond the current drawing date of 2PM on May 18th, 2014.

Prize: One prize will be given away. First Prize: 2003 50th Anniversary Edition Chevrolet Corvette valued at $30,000.

Drawing will be held at the Barkin’ Bad Car Show on May 18th 2014. The winner will be determined by random drawing.

Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified by via phone and certified return receipt mail within 7 days of the drawing, and will be posted on the NMDOG website.

If NMDOG has not sold by 8:00 am MDT on April 1, 2014, at least 500 valid raffle tickets and received full payment therefore, NMDOG may, at its sole and absolute discretion, cancel the raffle and withdraw the prizes aforementioned or decide to delay the drawing until the minimum has been purchased. In such an event, NMDOG will refund in full all monies collected to all persons who made payment, if they do not want to participate in a delayed drawing or if the raffle is canceled.

The prize winner is solely responsible for all local, state and federal taxes, title, transfer fees, license duties, insurance and all expenses incurred in claiming the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette. The Internal Revenue Service requires that any prizes valued at $600 or more be issued a Form W-2G, and requires that 25% of total winnings be withheld for federal taxes on prizes of $5,000 or more. The First Prize winner understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the First Prize winner is receiving a prize and will hereby release and discharge NMDOG, and any additional sponsors, their employees, agents, officers, directors and legal representatives and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from or caused by the award of such prize, including, but not limited to the payment of any and all taxes that are due.

Prize must be claimed within 30 days of drawing. Any unclaimed prize after that date will constitute forfeiture and be transferred to NMDOG as a donation.

NMDOG, its Board of Directors, and its agents assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, or entries without payment which will be deemed invalid and disqualified.

The decisions and rules of NMDOG are final on all matters concerning the raffle.
